diy sundays with andrea: so clutch

i had a fabulous sunday with andrea shopping and diy-ing.  so hopefully this is post numero uno of our diy weekend projects of fun.  so andrea send me this link last week to make these clutches.  it seems easy enough so we decided to go for it.

first though, we had to conquer the mall.  so after several dollars and great purchases later, we ended up at good old jo-ann's where the vinyl "leather" we chose for our clutches was on sale for 50%.  for $30 we would be able to make clutches for days!  here are some pics!

step 1:  pattern making and cutting out the pattern

figured out that hard way that when the directions say poster board, they mean poster board.

step 2: sewing...aka trial and error and error and error and error trying to figure out my sewing machine...

colin has the pics on his camera meaning they might as well not have even occurred.

step 100: 1, 2 skip a few...99, 100...final product
